Our Mission
To provide transformative ocean-based education and experiences within safe, inclusive spaces that connect youth with the ocean, nurture wellbeing, and cultivate conscious guardians of our marine ecosystems.
Our Vission
A world where coastal communities thrive through a deep connection with the ocean, empowered as stewards and guardians of its future.
Ocean-based learning, healing, and leadership.
We run a suite of interconnected programmes that meet participants where they are, from first encounters with the ocean to leadership pathways shaping the next generation of ocean guardians.
An eight-week ocean education programme introducing children to the science, systems, and stories of the sea. Using the Parley AIR strategy — Avoid, Intercept, Redesign — learners explore how human actions affect marine ecosystems and discover their role in protecting them.
An ocean therapy and education programme that teaches children to swim, builds water confidence, and supports mental wellbeing. Combining ocean safety, mindfulness, and environmental awareness, Turn the Tide transforms fear of the ocean into connection and care.An ocean therapy and education programme that teaches children to swim, builds water confidence, and supports mental wellbeing. An adapted version of our Turn the Tide programme for neurodiverse children and children with physical disabilities. Delivered by specially trained coaches using adaptive methods and equipment, this long-term programme provides access, inclusion, and the therapeutic benefits of the ocean.
A three-year leadership pathway for young people who have completed our education and therapy programmes. Ocean Sentinels develop advanced ocean literacy, public speaking, and advocacy skills, preparing them to lead within their communities and inspire ocean stewardship.
A training and employment pathway for young adults from coastal communities. Coaches receive practical and professional training — from adaptive instruction and ocean safety to financial literacy and leadership — creating local jobs and building long-term community capacity.
Community cleanups conducted as part of the Parley Global Cleanup Network. Each event removes waste from beaches while collecting data on pollution sources, connecting volunteers, students, and partners through shared responsibility for the health of our coastline.
